Some general information about GECKO to make your stay as enjoyable as possible:-

• The maximum occupancy of this property is 8 people. No camping or caravans are allowed.

• Check-in time is 2 pm and Check-out time is 10 am.

• Parking is available for 2 cars undercover in the carport, and extra parking is available in the driveway and on the verge. Maximum 4 vehicles.

• Dogs (maximum 2 – small-medium breed) are allowed at this property only with prior permission and must remain outdoors at all times.

• The Jetty is available for your use and is rated for a boat mooring of max 8 m. Please do not impede on neighbours jetty or access of. Mooring of your boat on this jetty is at your own risk and the owners is not liable for any damage caused to vessel or passenger.

• BINS TUESDAY NIGHT. Please place your bin at the kerb the evening before collection. Bin wheels to face house. Please make sure the bins are a metre apart otherwise the truck will not empty them. Strictly no FISH or FISH SCRAPS are to be placed in the bins, these can be disposed of in dedicated bins at the Exmouth Marina.

• The Round bin provided outside is for Containers for Change recycling only. Please see flyer in this compendium for eligible containers.

• Should the BBQ gas bottle run out whilst you are in residence, please refill yourself at any petrol station or swap at the hardware store, notify us and we will arrange a reimbursement for you. Please take note its the new screw type with regulator screwing into the outside tread. (Easy just get the same bottle type when doing an exchange)

• The home has 2 air conditioners. The main ducted ZONE operated air conditioning system is for the bedrooms only. The MODE button is the only button needed, use this button to set to COOL or AUTO only. The unit takes a minute to respond so just press and leave. Zoning and settings are complicated so best dont change any of the settings. Once settings are out the local AC company can reset but it will cost guests as they are pricy. Best is to just turn system on and off and leave rest of the settings as is.

The Split system aircon in the dining area is a SOLAR aircon. It runs at night off the mains so please conserve energy at night but feel free to run it the whole day to cool the house down in summer.

• The Solar Hot Water Booster Switch is located on the wall next to the fridge if you need to use it. Please make sure you turn the booster off once the water is hot. Booster mainly necessary in winter during overcast periods.

• This is a no smoking property. (Outside is permitted)

• There is Wi-Fi available at this property. Details are on the front of the router located in the kitchen.

• Cooktop Instruction – Push the desired burner dial in and turn to high, the lighter element will tick and light the burner. To turn off, turn knob to off.

• Oven Instructions – Turn the function dial to the required function, then turn temperature dial to desired temperature. To turn off, turn both dials to the top.

• There is a fish cleaning station behind the shed. Please do not dispose of any fish scraps in the bin. There are dedicated bins at the marina.

• The swimming pool is maintained weekly to retain safe chemical readings. If you feel that water levels are dropping below the skimmer, or something is amiss with the filter, please call the Owner immediately. Strictly no glass is allowed in the pool area. Children must be supervised at all times.

• BBQ – Lightning instructions are on the BBQ. It is expected that the BBQ will be left in a clean condition on your departure.

• No Parties are permitted at this house. Please also be mindful that there are neighbours who live, and work here so please keep the noise to a minimum after 10 pm.

• Should you have any maintenance items which are impeding on your stay, then please contact the owners or our emergency contact during daytime so that we can attend to this promptly. Please complete the maintenance form provided at the property for any other maintenance items.

• Please read and follow the Exit Checklist on your departure.

• Please return the keys to the lock box on your departure.
